Yes. Our DR hosting service is built specifically for organizations already running Nutanix. If you’re in the middle of evaluating or deploying Nutanix and want to plan for DR from the start, we’re happy to have that conversation early — it’s worth getting right the first time.
AHV (Acropolis Hypervisor) is our preferred and most fully supported option. It’s the hypervisor Nutanix builds around, and our environment is optimized for it. If you’re running a different hypervisor on your Nutanix cluster, reach out and we’ll walk through what’s possible on a case-by-case basis.
No, and it shouldn’t. Our replication service creates a scheduled off-site copy of your workloads at our facility. Your existing backup solution stays exactly as it is. Think of this as an additional recovery layer, not a replacement for what you already have in place.
A dedicated connection from Northland, Spectrum, Verizon, or Lumen is a hard requirement as shared internet connections don’t provide the consistency replication depends on. If you don’t have that in place, let us know where you are. We can often point you toward the right carrier or partner to get there.
We work with you during scoping to define a replication schedule that matches your recovery point objectives and available bandwidth. Some customers replicate continuously; others replicate on a nightly or hourly cycle. The right answer depends on how much data exposure your organization can tolerate.
Yes, and we strongly encourage it. We support failover testing as part of the service and provide documented runbooks so your team has a clear, rehearsed procedure ready. A recovery plan that’s never been tested isn’t a recovery plan.
