Thomas (Tom) Althoff has joined M.A. Polce Consulting as the Vice President of Services. Tom will have overall responsibility for the delivery of services from our four business units, Solutions, Managed Services, Security and Hosting Services.
Tom is a highly accomplished Information Technology Executive, consistently sought after and recognized for leading large scale, worldwide IT Transition projects. Prior to joining M.A. Polce Consulting, Tom worked for IBM, Network Data Systems (Faxton – St. Luke’s Healthcare), Excellus BlueCross BlueShield and Ahold Delhaize.
Throughout his diverse career, Tom has gained extensive experience in Information Technology, including senior management, program/project management, application development, data center operations, organizational development, systems engineering, sales and marketing, and consulting services. Tom has managed all phases of large, complex, high-risk, global IT projects.
His broad IT knowledge is combined with extensive business acumen, exceptional leadership and management to assist clients with their IT projects and business operations.
Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from SUNY Polytechnic Institute and also holds Project Management Certifications from the Project Management Institute (Project Management Professional – PMP), from Stanford University (Stanford Certified Project Manager – SCPM) and IBM (Executive Project Manager – EPM).
