The Systems Engineer is a professional position within the Solutions Group and is part of a team responsible for project engagements specifically focused on design, development, support and administration of Microsoft Server Infrastructures and Microsoft Azure cloud solutions within multi-server enterprise class environments.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Building, testing, and integrating Windows based servers in production environments that include O/S upgrades, Backups, Patching, SAN installations and connectivity, hardware support to some degree (Cisco, HP and Dell), and implementation of server standards and deployment policies.
The Systems Engineer engages in the design and integration of virtual environments, using products such as Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Hyper-V or VMware commonly required in disaster recovery and contingency solutions and most often in conjunction with SAN deployments.
