Senior Account Manager

The Senior Account Manager within the Solutions Group is the liaison between the client and M.A. Polce Consulting. This position represents the company’s advanced solutions offerings in storage & virtualization by developing a thorough understanding of the client’s requirements followed by effective identification and promotion of the appropriate technology and solution to address the client’s business needs. The Senior Account Manager works on a team with product specialists and consultants and articulates client requirements in an effort to develop proposals that consist of a sound design with a statement of work and bill of materials.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned accounts and maintain effective communications, acting as liaison between client and M.A. Polce Consulting, Inc.
  • Consistently educates clients on M.A. Polce Consulting’s products and services
  • Follows and supports a stringent sales process, effectively documenting the dialogue and progress of all sales opportunities in the company’s CRM
  • Works with product specialists and consultants on solution configurations and pricing to develop proposals in a timely manner
  • Effectively registers opportunities with appropriate vendor programs for equipment and product pricing competitive advantage
  • Effectively presents client contract renewals and service upgrades
  • Maintains correct forecasting and sales stage status of all opportunities, providing accurate estimation of close dates and timelines
  • Develops and implements account strategies to meet / exceed revenue objectives
  • Effectively identifies new revenue opportunities by conducting a client based needs analysis
  • Attains and maintains appropriate technical certifications required to effectively represent advanced solutions on key technologies such as storage and virtualization
  • Demonstrates the ability to listen to client’s concerns and works with the M.A. Polce operations team to resolve service issues


  • BA/BS in Information Technology discipline or have the equivalent in experience with emphasis on business and / or Information Technology
  • Minimum of 3 years’ sales experience in Information Technology or Telecommunications
  • Strong experience with storage and virtualization solutions is a must
