Account Executive Job Summary

The Account Executive is the primary sales liaison between clients and M. A. Polce Consulting (MAPCI). This position represents the company’s full line of service offerings and works to understand and address client requirements and business needs to propose new products and services. The Account Executive works within the larger sales and marketing team that includes solutions architects and sales support professionals. The Account Executive is responsible for leading efforts to manage assigned accounts and position new services, pursue leads that are assigned, and manage the flow of proposals from opportunity creation through proposal delivery.

Essential Functions:

  • Manages assigned accounts and maintains effective communications, acting as liaison between client and M.A. Polce
  • Consistently educates clients on M.A. Polce’s products and services
  • Follows and supports a stringent sales process, effectively documenting the dialogue and progress of all sales opportunities in the company’s CRM
  • Works with product specialists and consultants on solution configurations and pricing to develop proposals in a timely manner
  • Effectively registers opportunities with appropriate vendor programs for equipment and product pricing competitive advantage
  • Effectively presents client contract renewals and service upgrades
  • Maintains correct forecasting and sales stage status of all opportunities, providing accurate estimation of close dates and timelines
  • Develops and implements account strategies to meet / exceed revenue objectives
  • Effectively identifies new revenue opportunities by conducting a client based needs analysis
  • Attains and maintains appropriate certifications and knowledge required to effectively represent MAPCI solutions and technologies
  • Demonstrates the ability to listen to client’s concerns and works with the M.A. Polce operations team to resolve service issues

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years sales experience
  • Ability to travel to client locations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office / M365 Apps specifically Outlook, Excel & Word
  • Ability to pass a background check

Education:

  • Two or four year college degree or equivalent experience with emphasis on business, information technology, sales, or related field
