HBE Group Inc. Implements a Cloud-Based Calling Solution

Situation

A local Insurance company needs to replace an outdated phone system in order to adopt a remote work environment for their employees due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Challenge

The phone system at HBE Group, Inc. was the end of life, feature-limited, and no longer supported by the current vendor. HBE Group, Inc. engaged M.A. Polce to provide a validated design to replace the system in Herkimer and Dolgeville.

The Solution

M.A. Polce designed and implemented a cloud-based WebEx Calling VoIP Solution, WebEx Teams, Cisco7800 Series IP Phones, Meraki PoE Switches and Managed VoIP Support services for the Herkimer and Dolgeville offices. The new WebEx Calling system allows simplified management, increased features, flexible IP Phone, and mobile/desktop application calling & collaboration.

The Results

HBE Group Inc. now has the ability to take calls with their business number from anywhere, on any device. They have future-proofed the organization’s critical business communications with flexible, secure, enterprise-grade cloud calling and state-of-the-art features such as team collaboration. With the unexpected pandemic (COVID-19) HBE Group, Inc.’s business continued uninterrupted as their critical employees were able to bring their work phones home and were able to serve clients remotely.
